FirstLight Commercial Real Estate is a Fort Worth-based real estate brokerage business with an experienced president and founder, Dawn Potthoff. Dawn has over 30 years of successful experience in aggressively marketing commercial real estate of all types, including land and buildings in both urban and rural areas. Dawn’s history and FirstLight’s focus is actively serving the Greater Fort Worth-Dallas metroplex including any Texas location.

Since receiving her Texas Real Estate Broker’s License in 1990, Dawn has represented a wide range of sellers and buyers as well as tenants and landlords and closed more than 1,000 real estate transactions during both upward and downward economic cycles.

Dawn grew up in the real estate business as her family developed and sold thousands of acres in mostly rural areas. After selling out her family’s extensive inventory, Dawn independently helped her business and banking network sell mostly commercial properties, until she was invited to join Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT (“CBC”) when its commercial division was first starting up in Fort Worth. During her 7 years with CBC she won recognitions for sales production while playing a vital role in establishing their local market presence.

Being a self-starter always looking for growth, Dawn decided to begin her own independent company, FirstLight Commercial Real Estate. After 7 enjoyable years, she parted with CBC and began FirstLight.

Dawn’s passion and FirstLight’s mission is to ethically and effectively provide clients the real estate opportunities needed for successfully growing businesses and investor portfolio value.
